The Services Offered..... I can offer a number of services to help you buy in Bulgaria, travel around, buy, sell, invest there and relocate there. However, we no longer live in Bulgaria full time so some aspects are limited to the summer season and we work hard all winter in France and so our time in Bulgaria is mainly to relax and enjoy our home there. We also have our three dogs with us so can't easily travel to other areas and stay overnight anywhere. I am no longer really involved in property sales or renovations except for small services listed below. Happy to help where I can but first please check out the Bulgarian forum for answers to many questions and general info. General Advice If you would just like to discuss buying property in Bulgaria in general please also feel free to contact me. I have had a fair amount of experience including attempting to buy (and pulling out of the purchase) of an off-plan ski apartment and have bought 12 rural properties to do up for myself in this region. Four houses have been completely renovated and I have had a new house built from scratch. I have also completed renovations for several clients. I have visited a number of areas in Bulgaria and would be more than happy to help you in any way I can. However, there is little I can say if I just get an email saying 'I have seen this house for sale' and a link - 'what do you think'. Or 'where should I buy', 'what should I buy'? For initial enquiries and more general information on areas and the buying process etc please visit the Bulgarian forum. I also get a large number of emails from people who have bid on property on ebay or are buying through an agent. While I am happy to discuss general enquiries with you, if you are buying a house through someone else, then please contact them for necessary information on setting up a company, costs, details of that particular area. It is a little late to contact me and ask about an area, what I think of a house etc, if you have already bid and won it on ebay and it is unfair on the seller. Small DIY/Decorating/Furniture Buying - Kazanlak/Stara Zagora/Sunny Beach areas only If you have an apartment around the Sunny Beach area or Sozopol we are happy to carry out small renovations, decorating or furnish the apartment for you. We will be spending a fair amount of time at our apartment there on the Sunset Kosharitsa complex and will have our van there. Furnishing Service - Furniture packages are so expensive and impersonal. The guy we bought our apartment off had paid 9,000 Euros for his furniture pack. Granted this included a fairly nice fitted kitchen with appliances, but the actual furniture was horrendously expensive. A TV stand cost around 350 levs (think I paid around 20 levs for something similar!) and the furniture does not fit the rooms particularly well - there is too much big furniture and you cannot open doors properly or get to light switches. There were enough towels for a small hotel and plates and bowls for 8 (our apartment sleeps 4 at a push) but only small useless coffee cups and no kettle or mugs. We can help you furnish your apartment for much less, collect and assemble all the furniture, add little extras such as pictures, trinkets, rugs, buy and put up curtains. Please note we are not qualified in electrics so cannot wire in ovens or electric hobs but can do general plumbing and for most apartments, small cheaper ovens with ring burners that plug-in will be sufficient. Any futniture will be tailored to your taste - you could choose pine furniture or more modern black laminate furniture for example, you choose a colour scheme and I will work to that. We will visit your apartment, and together with you through email, skype and phone discuss exactly what you want, send you photos of examples etc We are also happy to help you with a similar service around the Kazanlak or Stara Zagora area. We can also do some small gardening work such as grass cutting, planting, weeding etc but are no longer offering full plot clearance. Property Checking If you have an apartment or property along the southern coastal region and maybe you need a snagging list done or just want the place checked on, aired etc, given a bit of a clean, we are happy to do this. Music Events If you are interested in having live music at an event you are holding - maybe a birthday party, anniversary, charity event etc, then Pete (my other half) is a guitarist and plays a regular solo acoustic set at a local hotel in France.
